Ingredients: malt, hops
This is an extraordinarily dark red beer. At first glance it looks like a porter. If you hold it up to the light, you see the most beautiful dark ruby red beer. Lucious silky head. Very restrained malty head. Medium body. This is a good solid beer without a lot of character to get in the way of a quick buzz. However, I prefer beers with a lot of character, especially ambers, and thus and rating this one low. It would be higher, but it weak for its style. If it were a "red-colored lager" or something where the expectations of character were lower, and I were in a better mood, perhaps I would rate this higher.
