Orange-colored beer, with broad hazes, cloudy, with a light head (just a finger) that disappears quickly.
Hops, hops and hops with a clear resinous effect, on a malty base, but also a light tangerine.
Very full-bodied on the palate. Strong malt flavor that supports a clear finish, with notes of pine and resin, and a light citrus note (more evident in the aftertaste).
A full-fledged double IPA, both in terms of alcohol content and aromas.
The lightness is another matter, but at the end it's pleasant and stylish.

Oct. 2015: 330 ml bottle, batch #68, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%, 100 IBU. Hazy deep golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity / citrussy American hops, hints of fir needles too. Hoppy flavour as expected, fruity and piney, but surprisingly well balanced with the malts, for a 100 IBU beer. Very good stuff.

Poured from 330 mL bottle into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a slightly hazy orange-yellow hue with 1/4 inch white head that quickly dissipates.
S: Funky citrus, pine, lime, and caramel malt.
T: Strong grapefruit, musty funk, lime, pine, and hint of tangerine.
M: Light-medium body. Nicely refreshing. Strong bitterness. Moderately dry. Faint citrus and caramel sweetness.
D: Nice for style. Strong hop notes.

A beer is very correct. Preserving the style, it is not an unbalanced beer or with elements that make it too hard, as with beers of this style. The choice of wolf I find it right.

Moderate head which leaves a thick ring of lace from the initial sip. Streaks of lace below that. Hazy, dirty gold color.
Prickly pine aroma. Strong grapefruit elements.
Solid biscuity malt start. While the hop overwhelms, this brew still provides a good balance. The aftertaste has a citrus rind element, creating a lingering lip smacking bite. I like balanced styled IPAs. It tastes rich but the body is moderate as is the carbonation.
