Dark copper and clear in the glass. Head fades quickly to an off-white, swampy foam. The smell is an intense, sweet dessert wine.
Light taste, somewhat watered-down malts. Taste concentrates at the beginning, with notes of rasperry and toasted bread. The mouthfeel is thin and watery--another watery Karuizawa Kogen beer...A sticky hop character comes across at times but seemed out of place.
I didn't mind drinking this beer.

The fine quickly disappeared on the slightly hazy brownish orange copper color body. The smell is fresh with notes of fermented red fruits and strong hints of yeast. The taste reveals lots of red fruits: sweet strawberries, dark cherries, maybe some raspberries. Hoppiness is quite thick, chewy and grassy, slightly herbal. Mouthfeel is more interesting than the one of the Wild Forest by the same brewery. Less watery, it fills the mouth better. Maybe the carbonation level is a bit high.Still a good pick.
