Damn fine mediocre pale ale that IPA ;) Crisp light amber filtered looks pour our of this nice-looking aluminum vessel, white sticky foam abounds. Nose is muted malt sweetness with little to no hop presence.
This IPA reminds alot of what I believe Bass Ale to taste like -- a very drinkable faintly sweet pale ale, with light to medium body and only a spot of hop bitterness for stylistic purposes. That said, it balances the 7% alcohol nicely with the restrained bitterness and malts, and is a great beer to drink out of a can. Nice full, soft mouthfeel. I think Yo-Ho Brewing has the right idea of serving drinkable, fairly exciting beers out of cans.

A - Slightly nonexistant head, transparent amber body.
S - Light butterscotch nose, nice and malty.
T - Inial caramel sweet flavor, followed by medium bitterness.
M - Medium to big carbonation, a big boned IPA
D - A nice drinking, English IPA. Coming from Ishii-san, I was expecting something reminicent of his Stone Brewing days (enuf bitternss to rip the enamel from my teeth).
