On tap at the Steel Pail in Eugene.
Don't know much about this "new to brewery," but this isn't what I would call a positive first impression. The beer I tried was a sweet, malt dominated, boozy mess. There wasn't nearly enough hoppy bitterness to counter and balance the sweet malt, and even though the abv. is only 8% (per the website), it drinks like a beer with a lot more alcohol (often something one sees in beers where the malty sweetness overwhelms the hop component).
Have had worse DIPA's in my time, but this was pretty bad.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
