Schwenks Classic Pilsner

Poured into a pilsner glass. Pours a light straw golden amber with a thin white head that dissipates to patches. Aroma of biscuit malt and grassy hops; classic pilsner profile. Flavor of biscuit malt, lemon, grassy hops and a hint of caramel. Medium bodied with light creaminess and good carbonation. A pleasant pilsner that may be a little more German in profile, but has an authentic tasting malt base and grassy continental hops. Not quite as hoppy and bitter as a traditional Czech pilsner, but with a mild lemon and caramel note that blends well. Enjoyable, solid pilsner.
