Growler from Market of Choice. I've avoided this brewery because all their packaged beers seem to be milkshake IPAs, but after a sample of this one, I couldn't say no. Supposedly, this is a their Oregonized Love IPA dry-hopped with Citra and Simcoe.
A clear light copper with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is bright, pungent and punchy, noticeably piney with a pleasant citrus note. Mandarin, clementine, a touch of pine sap and a light tropical fruit note are present. Malt character is minimal. The palate opens bitter and mildly resiny with a lovely dry hop character. Bright, mildly fruity and with a nice pine note, this beer has a blend of orange, a little peach, a touch of passionfruit and a good dose of clementine to go with the pine. The malt character is minimal here. There's a very faint hint of soap, but that could just be a second day pour from a growler. Medium-light in body, creamily carbonated, this beer finishes dry, bitter and fruity. Quite excellent.
