Haha - this seems like it fits in with the style reduction concept quite well...
Listed as a Kölsch this year (marketing?), I will rate it as such and will describe this beer as a light yellow-gold and very clear with a nice head that only leaves its mark at the top of the glass.
Nose is a dry grain field with some hints of light bread and a slight dry grass note. Taste follows initially with a sweet malt opening and a white bread flavor. A little floral hop note hits a high before the neutral to dry grassy bitterness starts to draw things back.
Not as spicy as the Bohemian pils that it was styled as and that I used to find more distinctive. A more mild version, perhaps, but a nice, clean, balanced brew that shines a tad more on the malt flavors without being sweet.
