On tap at brewery:
Clear deep mahogany that turns near black at the thicker parts of the glass. Head was decent to open, but faded without lacing to near flat cola by the end.
Toasty malts with a light fruity aspect greet my nose. The taste has approximate equivalent strengths of the same notes as the aroma. There’s a hint of a spicy hop note in back, but a smooth coffee lingering note. Feel is medium light with that light bite and slight lingering char bitterness.
A fair dark lager that meets my expectations well enough but isn’t quite enticing me to have another right away.
