Poured on tap into a half pints glass, at the Ashburn location.
Muted lemon yellow body color, opaque, with a simple off white head presented. Kind of ne ipa basic , with no carbonation present.
Aroma is delicious. Soft pineapple tropical notes on the hop angle. Faint hints of pine through a neutral malt and yeast profile.
Palate works with some reservations. Kind of a wet body but still transmitting the flavors at least. Slightly dumbed down pineapple, with a faint chalky bitterness in the finish. Mild touches of light bitterness which makes a good contrast.
Decent Ipa that is hampered by a fairly lacking body.
