Cooper’s Cloak BA Chocolate & Hazelnut

The beer pours a nice light brown bubbly head that dissipates fairly quickly while the beer itself is a very dark brown that looks black.

The smell is pretty good. It's a good hazelnut that mixes well with the dark chocolate. The chocolate is a bit mute compared to the hazelnut, which dominates the smell with a sweeter nutty note.

The taste is pretty good. It has the same notes as the smell but with a better balance between the sweet hazelnut and the bitter dark chocolate.

The feel is good. It has a medium body with a very thin texture to it.

Overall, a fairly bitter beer with a nice chocolate note to it and pairs really well with the recommended pairing.
