The beer pours some very light brown bubbly head that dissipates fairly quickly. The beer itself is dark chocolate brown that looks really nice. It does come off more as a very dark brown but can easily be mistaken for black.
The smell is good. It has an interesting spice like cinnamon note mixed with ginger. The chocolate mixes very well with the spices while the bourbon comes out a little in the finish.
The taste is pretty good. It has the same notes but at a different intensity. There is a strong ginger with a weak cinnamon. The chocolate still comes out in the finish but it's fairly weak.
The feel is good. It has a smooth and slightly silky body but comes off a bit thin.
Overall, pretty good and interesting before it warms up. The beer pairing (S'more using ginger snaps instead of graham crackers) worked fantastic with this.
