Poured on tap into large tulip, 2 finger head survived the trip downstairs from the bar. Golden clear to look at, head recedes but leaves great lacing. Taste a little sweet on the front end, then the bitterness, as mild as it is, kicks in and shuts it down. Nice bright tropical flavors. Mouthfeel is great with this beer, not very dry finish. B-52 is rapidly becoming one of my favorite local breweries.

Great DIPA, I feel like this can hang with the big boys. I haven't been dissatisfied with anything from B-52, and this is another hit. Will drink again.

Had this at Petrol Station about an hour ago and the aramo was fantastic. The taste was juicy, tropical hops that followed the nose. I am very impressed with this. More people need to give this a try because this is one of the better DIPAs I have had from a Texas brewery. If this were canned or bottled it would be a staple in my fridge. Very well done.

On tap at Hay Merchant in Houston.
A: Pours an amazingly vibrant haze yellow/orange color. A two finger, tightly packed white head forms with excellent retention and lace.
S: A burst of orange, citrus, mango aromas. Lightly resinous and piny. Just a hint of residual sugars and caramel sweetness in the background. No real bitterness lingers, but more of a juicy, fruity aroma that keeps going.
T: Citrus and passion fruits all over this. Orange, mango, light grapefruit. Like a fruit punch with just enough residual sugars and caramel malt to balance out a large bitterness and dryness.
M/D: A medium to full body. Perfectly effervescent and crisp carbonation. So smooth at the same time. A dry finish that is wonderful after the sugars fade out. Just an amazing easy DIPA to drink. So enjoyable...normally one big hoppy beer is all I can handle in a sitting, I went through three snifters.
This is my first from B-52, and to say the least I am blown away. Maybe the best DIPA in Texas. For me to be gushing over a DIPA is saying something cause I am not a hop head. Highly recommended, and well done.
