Poured from bottle into tulip, good 1 finger khaki colored head, good retention so so lacing. Jet black in the glass, no light gets thru. Smells predominantly of bourbon, very little roasted malt/coffee on the nose. First sip is strong in your face bourbon, there is some faint coffee in the middle, very little roast, but some lingering chocolate notes. Pretty much one note here, barrel overroad the base beer pretty bad. Hopefully they will dial this in on future batches
