This is 12% per the can. The brewery’s site doesn’t have readily available details about the actual availability. Pours a great stout appearance, which with deep tan lacing.
Nose is banana pudding-like with some roasted coffee and a hint of booze.
Taste is like banana pudding/ fosters, sweet for sure, and I can’t help but notice how thick and rich it feels. Lactose no doubt. Haven’t had too many milk stouts on the heavier side, but all things considered this one seems to balance it all just right, banana dominates, there’s a creamy/ marshmallow-like feel and sweetness, and the roast/ char bitterness keeps it from going overboard with cloying. There’s an underlying complexity to it too, the darker notes, malts or molasses or something. Sticky too. Creamy. This is one I’d get again. About the best imperial/ milk stout I recall in a long while. Still tasting bananas, in a delicious/ cordial way.
