Kavos 20/7 2022. 50 cl bottle from Diella Supermarket in Lefkimmi, Corfu. Transparent fancy label with some golden Lions holding a shield with a small map of Corfu and some beer-making equipment.
Pours clear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patches of foam unable ofcovering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty scent mingling with a light sourish grainy quality.Sweet pale malts, wine gums and lemon. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Salty tang. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Decent and not too sweet Lager Beer.
