1957 is a one of a kind beer. Utilizing specialty malts, this English Style Mild features a unique nuttiness and caramel-like sweetness that’s intended to remind you of America’s favorite ballpark snack. A faint hop presence to balance the light malt body makes this a great summer time, “take-me-out-to-the-ball-game” beer.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This decent little mild pours a
rich reddish brown with a beautiful head of off white foam that
settles to a thick ring and layer with excellent lacing. Nose of
toasted malts and mild herbal hops with a hint of fruit that is overall
muted and restrained. Flavors lightly exceed the nose with
toasted malts and mild dark berry notes mingling nicely with
lightly assertive herbal hop notes that carry a touch of metallic
note with them. Decent mouth feel; medium body, medium
carbonation, and a lightly dry finish that is a hair on the watery
side.

Overall, a decent brew and one that would be perfect after mowing
the lawn or for grilling.

Cheers

12oz can, sample from the brewery.

Dark reddish brown hue, good amount of head on top. Big toasted malt character, some mild sweetness but stay more bready than anything else. Modest hopping, probably for the best to stay true to style. Goes a bit nutty and some dark fruit in the middle. Dry toasty finish. Could easily do a proper session with this one.

Drank this from the can. Caramel taste with a lot of nut notes. Very easy to drink as beer as no bitterness. A great style for this beer and would enjoy it again.

12 ounce can, canned on 3/6/2017. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear reddish/brown color with about an inch light tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like nuts, caramel, toasted malt, and a bit of chocolate and earthiness. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with some breadiness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and really easy to drink. I think it's a good mild ale, it would be really easy to drink a sixer of this. It was made to remind you of "America's favorite ballpark snack", and it really does remind me of eating some Cracker Jack. Next time I drink this I'll have to pair it up with some! Definitely recommend this brew. $9.99 a 6-pack.
