Thanks to Jim for this one.
Clear, vibrant golden copper body. One finger white head. Audible fizzing. Leaves an uneven ring around the glass.
The aroma and taste are wonderful. As the can cracks I get a big whiff of toasted malts, honey and floral hops. The taste follows with added notes of tea, medicinal hops and pepper.
Smooth body, a touch grainy. Effervescent carbonation. If it was a touch drier it would be near perfect.

Poured into a tall clear pint glass. Has a clear amber color with a very foamy and thick head that slowly dissipates, good retention and lacing.
Aroma ultimately smells like a lager, malty and hoppy. Notes of yeast, slight caramel, toast and roasted nuts, and toffee.
Taste has a bold hoppy flavor, although the malts are present as well with their character they do not dominate and add rather a subtle delightful balance. Again, but most primarily, notes of caramel, toast, roasted nuts, and yeast. Feels rather smooth.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This decent little lager
pours an amber tinged golden color with a nice head of
white foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin layer, and
shows some very nice lacing. Nose of lightly breaded
malts with grassy hops and floral hops. Flavors ever
so subtly exceed the nose with grassy and herbal hops
mingling nicely with a lightly toasted breaded malt
with touches of biscuit and mild caramel malts
that are given a brisk whisk of hops. Decent mouth
feel; medium body, medium light carbonation, and
a lightly bitter hop finish.
Overall, a solid little session lager from a very good
brewery in the area.
Cheers

Good tasting, slightly crisp clean beer that can easily lead to multiple glasses. Carbonation isn’t too much or too little.

Poured into a goblet glass. Moderately hazy amber color with a medium-sized white head. Punchy floral hops on the nose along with brown bread and biscuit. Rich biscuity flavor with a fairly pronounced floral hop bitterness. Some earth and grass in there but overall well-balanced with the malt. Crisp and clean on the finish.

Pours clear amber/yellow into a fifteen ounce glass mug the same temperature as the beer. Two fingers of foamy white head that eventually settles into a patchy rime. Decent lacing.
Smells just like a good lager should. Malt and hops.
A malty flavor that is well balanced with a good hop bite. Lots of bready and nutty goodness. Great balance.
Clean crisp and refreshing. Medium feel with perfect carbonation. Finish is dry but not arid.
This is a wonderful lager. Definitely a keeper.

Dortmunder lager poured from a can into a Braxton pub glass. The beer is a light amber-gold color with a rather thin head for the style. Nice light malty nose. Fresh toast, toffee, a little fresh herb, and some pepper.
Medium body with a firm feel and a balanced flavor. The beer is spot on for the style. Light biscuity malt up front, then a kiss of hops and a slightly dry finish. Fresh bread, toffee, lemon, and white pepper (in that order). Overall, a good representative of the style. Nothing too sophisticated or pontificating here. Just a good, plain, refreshing beer brewed in an old-world style. Cheers!
