Thoroughly enjoyed from the growler via Braxton Labs at the Party Source in a snifter.
This mighty fine stout pours a deep blackish brown with a nice tan head of foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin light pool, and showcases nice sudsy lacing. Nose of super
rich coffee, light chocolate, nice vanilla bean notes, subtle char, and sweet cream from
lactose sugars. Flavors nail it! Rich beefy coffee notes wash over light chocolate and
subtle char notes with a mellow vanilla bean note touched with brown sugars and
sweet cream with a touch of cola. Very nice mouth feel with medium low carbonation,
lightly coating, medium full body, and a creamy lightly bitter coffee and sweet vanilla
aftertaste.
Overall, the newest wow brew from Braxton I have tried and one I would try again
if the chance arose. Very well done and well balanced.
Cheers
