From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This rather ipa pours a luminous
muddled peach tinged straw amber color with a nice head of white foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin light layer, and shows some nice light
lacing. Nose of peaches, light pine hops, some grassy hops, and subtle
sweet honey malts. Flavors follow the nose with grassy hops and peaches to
the fore with pine and honey malts falling off in the rear with a touch of cracker.
Mouth feel is medium light in body, low carbonation, and a lightly watery
peach tinged finish.
For what it is this is a decent brew, not my standard cup of ale, but decent.
Cheers

The name would indicate this would be a pale ale with peaches in it... That is incorrect. This is a fairly good pale ale with no peach aroma or flavor whatsoever. The hops are fruit-like in nature but it isn't peach. Its like an overripe slightly funky melon of some sort. I finished it but did not and would not order another.

Could you be my, would you be my... won't you be... my neighbor. "Hi neighbor." Braxton Brewing Company kicks off their "Neighbor Series", a collaboration series that reaches out to Georgia's SweetWater Brewing for a pale ale that's just peachy.
Pale golden and cast with a pectin rich haze, Moving to the Country's slight peach hue catches the eye before the scent of the same orchard fruit overtakes the nose. A background of citrus, grassy, leafy and piney aromas give a roundness to the perfumy peach filled scent before a taste of honey, biscuit and caramel splash onto the tongue.
Sweetness fades across the middle palate but the starchy taste and texture of malt remain in support of the hops and fruit additions that shine through the center of taste. Although the taste of pink grapefruit, orange zest and a fine grassiness balances and eventually overtakes the lingering malt sweetness, its the peaches that steal the show. Slight of apricot, mango and apple, the peach flavor is tangy, zesty and carries its own pith astringency that adds a wine-like balance as well.
Medium bodied and remaining creamy with the textures of pasta water, the beer's bold peach additions and bright hop display isn't enough to rescue the beer from mediocrity. Its moderate intensity and calm demeanor has the beer lingering medium long with pectin bite and hop bitterness.
