From the growler via Braxton labs at the Party Source in a snifter.
Stout #002 at 6.1 percent with Carabello Coffee’s Nicaraguan La Esperanza coffee.
This beefy stout pours a rich opaque with a light head of khaki foam that settles
to a thin ring and subtle pooling clump with scant lacing. Nose of HEAVY roasted
coffee dark chocolate, char, earthy malt notes, and wooden notes mingling with
subtle dark berry notes. Flavors follow the nose with aplomb. Heavy coffee mingles
with dark chocolate and dark berry notes of black berry and raspberry over layers of
char and brulee brown sugars with earthy wooden malt flavors. Very nice mouth feel;
full body, lightly coating, low carbonation, and a pretty darn dry finish.
Overall a solid entrance into a solid brewery.
Cheers
