4-pack shipped from the brewery
Pours a pitch black color, no light penetration at all. Finger thick brown head with good retention.
Aromas of dark roasty chocolate.
Taste is even more roasty with a hint of vanilla.
Full body with moderate carbonation, silky mouthfeel.
Really enjoyed this one!

From a growler via Braxton labs at The Party Source in a snifter. This nice
little stout pours a dark blackish brown with a nice head of light brown foam that
subsides to a thick ring, thin clumping pool, and showcases nice light lacing. Nose
ash and char, dark chocolate, subtle candy sugars with a hint of phenols from the
yeast. Flavors exceed the nose which is very timid otherwise. Dark chocolate dances
with ash and char with hints of fennel over notes of dark bruised berries and a hint of
mild coffee. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, light carbonation, and a moderately
rich yet subtly dry finish.
A very nice stout, like a cross between an export stout and some of the Belgian stouts
that are offered from Belgium. Very nice.
Cheers
