12 ounce can, canned on 09/18/18. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a hazy orange/amber color with about an inch light tan head that stayed around for a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is mostly sweet and pumpkin spicy, the brew smells like cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, graham cracker and vanilla. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of some brown sugar, pumpkin and cream flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and a bit coating with a good amount of carbonation. As far as pumpkin beers go, I think it is more of a pumpkin pie/pumpkin spice type tasting brew. With that being said, I liked it! $9.99 a 4-pack.

The last thing that you'd expect to see when perusing the beer aisle is a Graeter's ice cream label. But that's what happens in the greater Ohio River Valley as the Cincinnati staple creamery and Northern Kentucky's sweetheart brewery team up for a fall seasonal ale that celebrates both cultures of ale and dessert.

Graeter's Pumpkin Pie pours a rounded and hazy copper with a soft tarnish froth. The usual suspects of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove swoon about the nose along with a rich caramel undertow. Rich malt sweetness splashes the tastebuds with the decadence of praline, werther's original candies and graham cracker.

As the sweetness intensifies across the middle palate, its cakey starches bring a full creaminess with a marshmallowy texture. The rise of pumpkin pie spices blend seamlessly before extending long on the late palate with a sense of pulled candy and grandma's pumpkin pie, equipped with whipped cream and a graham cracker crust.

Medium full on the palate, the lingering sweetness fatigues the palate but ensures a full culinary delight of the fall pie flavor with saturating, light cloying effects. A mild rum spice and tepid summer sweet tea bitterness aids the pie spice additions in a modest balance against the sweetness. A linger of nutmeg and clove extends nearly as long as the caramel on the aftertaste.
