12 ounce can, canned on 05/10/19. Served in a Tubby pint glass, the beer pours a hazy light gold color with about a half inch white head that fizzled away quickly. Pretty much no lacing at all. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like key lime, vanilla, and grainy malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some cinnamon, graham cracker and cream flavors too. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's smooth and easy to drink, a good brew for a hot day like this one. I thought it was decent enough overall, I did like the key lime in this. Thanks to my buddy Denis for this brew, I'd like to pick up more of this one for the summer!

Hello summer! Graeter's ice cream makers and Braxton beer makers come together with a clever ale that's deeply rooted in Caribbean dessert culture. Their collaboration key lime flavored ale is just what we need to face the warm weather head on.
Light golden and mostly straw, the hazy Graeter's Key Lime Pie Ale rounds the rim with a loose and airy meringue. A tantalizing scent of lime is met with cream and soft vanilla spice for the hallmark aromas of the classic island dessert. Initial sweetness is the likeness of condensed milk and a pep of honeysuckle.
But any focus on sweetness is short and fleeting like hard lime candy. Washing over the malts are the acidic flavors of cider, white wine, gooseberry and citrus. Leading with strong lime tones, the beer teases with mojito before the vanilla and cream character soothes the acidity and citrus tang with a smoothie-like effect. Low bitterness allows on high acidity for balance, crispness and cleanliness.
Medium light on the palate, the beer retains just enough weight and creaminess to add texture and complexity in taste, and highlights the key lime pie effects beautifully. A hint of graham cracker rises in the late palate to complete the medley of key lime desserts in ale form nearly flawlessly.
