Received at a beer tasting, and it was almost orange in color, and low in carbonation. Quite bitter but without the hops, which I thought was also strange. There was very little malt or sweetness. The bitter aftertaste really lingered & felt heavy, so this brew needs a bit more balancing.

This beer pours a golden straw color, but it is all about the noble hops, with grassy and lemon notes (and bread) on the nose, and those same attributes on the taste.
This is light (4% ABV) yet flavorful, and exceptionally crisp, making for a perfect lawnmower beer.

I am trying a 5oz taster of this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had grain and biscuit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp grain and yeast presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

12oz can stamped 12/08/20 poured into a pint glass at fridge temp 4% ABV. The beer pours bright light amber with off white head. The head recedes to a thin cap and clings to the glass just above liquid. The aroma is light yeast and toasted malt. The taste is slightly watery with mild toasted malt, slight herbal / earthy hop flavor and minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. No off flavors or flaws. Overall, very good light lager in the sense that it's clean and has some taste.

Poured from a can into a stein. The pour is gold in color and very clear with about a finger of dense white foam. Retention is not quite as good as it could be. The nose has some toasted malt and a slightly dry, flowery hop element.
Medium-light body with a firm feel and a malty flavor. Nice and bready throughout with perhaps just a bit too much lemon-like hop character to compare it to the standards of the style from Germany. Overall, a light enjoyable beer, but if you want a top-shelf example to experience what this style can be like, you may want to look elsewhere.
