16 oz can
Pours opaque black, tan film for a head.
Aroma of fresh peanut butter, cocoa, and cookies.
Flavor is of peanut butter, cocoa, toast, pecan, walnut, cream, and roasted coffee bean.
Medium to full body with stinging carbonation on the tongue.
This is described as a dessert stout but it's actually not all that sweet. The peanut flavor is at the forefront and it's really good. The rest of the flavors really can't compete with it so it ends up feeling a little off balance. Body is thinner than I would want too. Ultimately it's still pretty good and worth trying, but feels like unrealized potential.
