This gose gets our kettle sour treatment to bring acidity to the base, as well as sea salt and ground coriander in the boil. From there it gets the fixings of your favorite dreamsicle, but with a twist. In addition to citrusy orange puree and sweet vanilla, this sour ale gets a tropical treatment of 50# of coconut and pineapple puree.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color - too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left some lacing down the sides, a narrow collar around the edge, and a patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light aromas of lactobacillus and salt are present in the nose along with notes of coconut and pineapple.
T: The taste follows the smell but has a bit stronger flavors of coconut and pineapple with notes of vanilla. Only a slight amount of sourness is perceptible.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The beer coats the inside of your mouth to some degree.
O: This beer tastes more like a gose than a fruited sour so the dreamsicle treatment serves more to add additional complexities to the smell and taste rather than obscure the underlying beer.

I think Bren got this one from a pack, from Tavour in a 16 oz can, chilled and poured into a goblet.
Look: pineapple yellow, hard poured and got a 2 finger sized white head that dissipated leaving a nice shallow layer of white foam. As we drank it left a light white lacing down the glass.
Smell: malty in the nose, a little funk (just a hint), super light pineapple
Taste: light and malty on the front, hints of pineapple, super malty on the back with light sour... no discernible coconut or cara cara orange, zero vanilla. Not super sour or sour like a Gose.
Feel: super carbonation throughout, even as it warmed. Light and malty, refreshing, not fruited types of refreshing. Drinkable, but not super satisfying
Overall this is a malty ale and not really a Gose. Braxton labs is cool because they are all small batch, trying some unique combinations in creative ways of beer making. This one doesn’t at all match it’s description. There is just a hint of sour, just a hint of pineapple, no cara cara orange, coconut or vanilla... and it is barely a Gose. This is just a simple, somewhat fruity malty beverage with a low ABV.
Cheers if you really are thirsty. I would not get another one.
