This brandy barrel-aged strong ale was pulled deep from the cellar. Spending 40 months in a brandy barrel! This beer offers a character that is unmatched. Starting with a rich chocolate aroma and flavor, it quickly changes to a sweet jam/dried fruit flavor that coats your tongue and finishes with a rich oak flavor.

Pours a murky brown color with a thin brown head.
Strong brandy aroma right away when you start pouring.
Taste much like the nose, full and rich of brandy with sweet notes of caramel and oak.
I would say the base is like a barley wine.
Body is medium/full.
I enjoyed this one very much.
