Smoothie Sour Strawberry and Banana Split
Braxton Labs Brewing
Date: No Date
I had this beer in the fridge for a couple of months; its time has come. The beer is 44 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The pour created a frothy and foamy light orange head with fair retention. Bits of fruit were deposited on the glass as it dissipated. The color is the odd dark orange color and is opaque. The beer does not look appetizing at all.
The aromas are bananas, berries, yogurt, oranges, maltiness, and fruity sweetness.
The flavors are oranges, banana, citrus, fruity sweetness, poorly made ice cream, and berries.
The mouthfeel is strange bits of well-done fruit.
The body of the beer is medium, low carbonation, and so-so finish.
This beer is terrible. The fruit is over-macerated and overcooked lending to unpleasant quality. The beer has a subtle trace of sourness. The split part of the beer is worse.

16 oz can into a willi belcher.
Pours an opaque murky peanut butter gold color with a small off-white head. Decent retention. Leaves a ring of lacing around the top of the glass.
Aromas of fresh strawberries, strawberry yogurt, and smashed overripe bananas.
The flavor is strawberry yogurt, overripe bananas, and orange juice.
The feel is medium-full bodied with lower carbonation. Soft, creamy and smooth.
Overall, there's absolutely nothing to say about this one other than "Yep, it tastes like a Strawberry Banana Smoothie".
