22 ounce bottle, 2021 vintage, bottle #0736/1200. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like rum, vanilla, cinnamon, orange peel, roasted malt and some peppery spice. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some oak, burnt/charred malt, black pepper, dark bread, coffee and earthy flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty good barrel aged stout, definitely worth trying if you like imperial stouts or rum barrel aged beers!
