Single bottle shipped from the brewery
I did not get much hazelnut aroma or taste.
Other than that, I enjoyed it a lot.

22 ounce wax capped bottle, bottle number 0202/1400. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention is good and there's a lot of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, dark chocolate, hazelnuts, vanilla, bourbon and burnt/charred malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some oak, dark bread and a hint of earthiness noticeable too. Coffee stands out to me here compared to the other flavors, with that being said all the flavors do mesh well together. Leans more towards roasty than sweet tasting. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew a lot, wish I had another bottle! Probably my favorite brew of the recent release of the 2021 Dark Charge variants that I've tried so far, but I do have 4 more to try so that could change.
