Look - Really nice thick black with a nice thick tan head great rimming and sticky lacing
Smell - slightly funky purne with a slight chocolate
Taste - first take is the prune juice. Dark fruit like black berries come out as well and some chocolate
Feel - Medium full body with a lighter carb
Overall - very different stout. Everyone I was with loved it.

22 ounce blue wax capped bottle, 2021 vintage, bottled #0704/1200. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both pretty good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark fruit, roasted malt, rye whiskey, bittersweet chocolate and blackberries. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some plum, burnt/charred malt, oak and vanilla flavors noticeable too. Good and roasty, with a nice slight tart kick from the berries. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a bit slick with a decent amount of carbonation. Kinda wish the rye barrel character was stronger here, the dark fruit stood out to me compared to the other flavors. Still a tasty brew though, certainly worth trying if you get the chance!
