From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This fantastic brew pours a
deep dark brown with light tea highlights and a light head of khaki foam that
sizzles to a thin ring....again, give it a motion and this one sports some nice legs.
Nose of bourbon, vinous wine notes, candy sugars, bourbon, vanilla, oak, fig,
and dates. Flavors pack in the punch; fig, date, sweet cherry, oak, bourbon,
brown sugars, candy sugars, vinous grape notes, vanilla, leather, and mild
tobacco hints. Very nice mouth feel for an ABV of this heft. Medium body,
faint carbonation, warming, boozy, and finishing medium dry.

Overall---another winner! The Barrel House rocks!

Cheers
