From the growler via the Barrel House in a snifter. This solid stout pours
a dark brownish black with a decent head of khaki foam that settles to a
thin ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of dark bakers
chocolate, char, light smoke, and caramel with hints of coffee. Flavors follow the nose
with dark bakers chocolate, char, smoke, light caramel, and more prominent
coffee than in the nose. Decent mouthfeel; medium verging on medium full
body, lightly coating, and finishing medium dry.
Overall, a solid brew but a little light on the mouthfeel.
Would be a nice lighter BBA brew (hint!)
