From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This solid little doppel
pours a near opaque brownish black with a moderate head of khaki foam
that settles to a thin ring. Nose of bourbon, vanilla, dark brown sugars,
dark breaded malts, and subtle dark fruit hints with a touch of oak and
subtle banana. Flavors hit the mark with bourbon, oak, vanilla, light
banana, subtle clove, dark breaded malts, brown sugars, and faint dark
fruits of blueberry. Nice mouth feel; medium verging on medium full
body, smooth, light carbonation, and a warming lightly dry finish.
Overall----solid!
Cheers
