22 ounce bottle, bottled NOV 10, 2019, thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around a long time. There's a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like roasted malt, vanilla, cognac, caramel, dark fruit, chocolate and some earthiness. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt, oak and coffee flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, but think it might have been a little better when fresher. Have to say it has aged well!

From the 1pt 6 fl oz wax capped bottle in a snifter. This exceptional imperial pours a
deep coal black with a very nice head of light brown foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin dusty layer, and shows light lacing. Nose of bourbon, vinous cognac, oak, coffee,
cocoa, vanilla, and rich dark fruits of black, blue, and raspberry with touches of char
and deep roast. Flavors follow with light exception, Dark cocoa, dark coffee, blackberry,
blueberry, raspberry, vinous cognac, bourbon, oak, toffee, leather, hints of tobacco, and
balanced char and roast with nice vanilla and brulee notes. Nice mouthfeel; full body,
smooth, lightly creamy, coating, light carbonation, lightly warming, and finishing
lightly dry.
Overall----can't say enough about this one----absolutely awesome!
Cheers
