500 ml bottle, 2021 vintage. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like bourbon, vanilla, coffee, hazelnuts and some dark fruit. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some oak and caramel flavors noticeable too. Kinda boozy, but eases up some as it warms. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and sticky with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was a good overall brew, worth trying if you get the chance!

From the 500 ml bottle in a snifter via the brewery. This exceptional
brew pours a dark brownish black with a moderate head of khaki foam that
sizzles to a thin ring. Nose of bourbon, oak, nuts, subtle coffee, char, vanilla,
and dark brown sugars with notes of char and roast. Flavors are on point
with roasted hazelnuts, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, oak, dark berry notes of
blackberry, raspberry, char, roast. Nice mouth feel; medium body verging
on medium full, smooth, rich, warming, low carbonation, and finishing
medium to medium full on dry.
Overall, excellent!
Cheers
