500 ml bottle, no dating that I noticed on it. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a snifter, the beer pours a brownish/copper color with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like toffee, caramel, brown sugar, fig, vanilla, and some bourbon. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some bready malt, oak and earthy flavors. Bourbon has more of a kick in the taste as compared to the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit coating and has a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, thought it was pretty similar to the 6 month aged version I tried last week. Definitely worth a try if you get the chance!

From the bottle in a snifter. This monster barely wine pours a
medium dark muddy mahogany with a very nice head of khaki foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice light
lacing. Nose of cherry, date, fig, toffee, bourbon, brown sugars, and oak.
Flavors find their mark with brown sugar dusted dates and figs, warming
sweet bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee, cherry, brandy, and touches of cherry.
Mouth feel is medium, medium light tilting towards light carbonation, smooth,
rich, warming, and finishing medium dry.

Overall, a SOLID brew from an excellent brewery!
