From the 500 ml bottle in a snifter. This excellent imperial pours a coal
black with a moderate had of khaki foam that sizzles to a thin ring,. subtle dusty layer, and
sports some nice light lacing with nice legs. Nose of Bourbon, oak, vanilla, dark chocolate,
light char, dark coffee hints, toffee, and deeply roasted malts with dark berry hints. Flavors
hit the note with toffee, dark chocolate, chocolate truffle, faint cream, light char, bourbon,
rich oak, vanilla, and dark berry hints of black and blueberry. Mouthfeel is full, smooth,
rich ,coating, lightly slick, warming, a touch abrasive from the bourbon but still nice, and a
lightly dry finish.
Overall, a solid little brew.
Cheers
