16 ounce can, canned on 11/28/23. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like raspberry jam/donut filling, roasted malt, vanilla, dark chocolate and a bit of bourbon. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some coffee and an herbal medicinal flavor noticeable too. The medicinal flavor eased up somewhat as the beer warmed, but it was still strong enough to bug me. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit slick and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I had my hopes up for this one. Really smells like a jelly donut, but the medicinal taste sure doesn't make it taste like a jelly donut. Not a fan of this brew, hope you liked it more than I did.
