500 ml bottle, if what I'm reading online is correct this was a July 2022 release. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a snifter, the beer pours a murky reddish/copper color with not quite an inch tan head that stuck around a little while. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like raisins, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, and some oak. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some brown sugar, earthy, and caramel flavors. Good amount of barrel character here. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was a good overall brew, can't wait to try the 12 month version!

From the bottle in a snifter via the brewery! This excellent little ale pours a
lightly muddled red tinged mahogany with a faint head of khaki foam that sizzles
to a thin ring and sports some nice legs. Nose of rich bourbon, oak, vanilla, brown
sugars, toffee, and light date. Flavors find their mark with heavy bourbon, brown
sugars, heavy oak, vanilla, toffee, light date, rum raisin, and touches of cherry
and leather. Mouth feel is medium, smooth, very warming, rich, faint
carbonation, and a lightly dry finish.
Overall, a more raw version of the 12 month (duh!), more raw and in
your face bourbon and barrel. That said it is still excellent!
Cheers
