Aged for 2 years and 10 months in a Wild Turkey bourbon barrel. Rich oak tannins, a gentle warmth, and layers of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, caramel, and dark red fruit blend seamlessly.

500 ml bottle, no dating that I noticed on the bottle or label. Big thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch or so tan head that stayed around for a while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, oak, roasted malt, dark fruit and some caramel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some dark bread, burnt/charred malt and some coffee flavors noticeable too. Nice amount of barrel character in both the taste and aroma, but more so in the taste. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this one was pretty good, wish I would have drank it sooner! Definitely worth trying if you get the chance!

From the 500 ml bottle in a snifter via Liquor Barn. This solid imperial pours a
blackish brown with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring,
subtle dusty layer, and sports some nice legs. Nose of rich bourbon, rich oak,
vanilla, subtle char, astringent booze, dark chocolate, and dark fruits. Flavors
surpass the nose with oak, bourbon, dark chocolate, subtle coffee, dark fruits
of raspberry and cherry, vanilla, subtle char, and warming booze. Mouth feel
is medium full leaning towards full, smooth, rich, warming, I can't feel my smile,
and a moderately bitter malt and boozy laden finish awash in bourbon.
Overall, a solid little brew!
Cheers
