I had this on tap in a pint glass while waiting for IPAviator to show up. I heard of this brew so thought i'd try it.
It poured a rather hazy burnt honey color with deep apricot hues and a half finger of oatmeal colored head that left a nice dance of lace down my glass. The scent was of toast and faintly of caramel at the end. The taste was mainly biscuits with an end note of toast and slight hops. There was nice carbonation and a medium bodied feel to it. Unfortunately rather nondescipt this one. Not bad, just nondescript.
All in all i didnt know what to expect from this brew. I thought it would be a bit sweeter or more on the malt side but it wasnt. It reminded me more of an amber than anything. I'll have to try other versions of this then try this one version again.
