Pretty plain vanilla pale ale. Golden yellow with a thin white crust head. Almost no smell; just a whiff of citrus.
STrangely bitter. Not even sure from what, as it isn't hoppy, nor overly citrus-y. Kind of a weird burnt/bitter taste.
Okay, but not my idea of a pale ale.

Consumed 04/21/08.
Unfiltered medium yellow with a fine white head.
No aroma.
Flavor is resiny pine, lemon and grapefruit from the hops. A little watery with no balancing maltiness. A touch parching. As expected, bitterness throughought and as aftertaste, though not excessive.
While not extreme hop juice, a lack of balance docks this one a little in my ratings.
