Poured from an undated 12 oz. can: deep reddish amber with a quickly receding foamy, 0ff-white head.
Aromas of malt and faint citrus.
The flavor begins with a citrusy bite before giving way to hints of toffee and molasses. The ale is old (my fault) and would have been more balanced if fresher. Per the can, the alcohol content is 6.0 % ABV which is high for an amber-style ale. Not a bad beer, but not a top-level amber.
