A nice place. The beer was pretty good. The service was a little off, which was surprising. I know they don't fit in to the guidelines of a craft brewery, but I still feel like it's worth a trip, until Glasgow has more taprooms to visit at least.

Drygate has a super cool location, walking distance from both the necropolis and Glasgow Cathedral. Although they have a full service restaurant downstairs and a beer hall upstairs, they dont boast the largest menu when it comes to beer. I recall them having about 8 beers on tap. Everything was around 5% ABV except for the stout I ordered, which came in at 6%. Apparently anything over 5% is considered 'strong',' so when the beertender accidentally poured me a full pint instead of the half pint as listed on the menu, she offered to pout it out, noting that she wasnt supposed to pour that much and that the beer is "quite strong." I assured her I'd be fine and happily drank my half-priced full pint.

Located down the hill, and a short walk, from the cathedral, Drygate is a great find if you know about it. Besides the brewery and some event rooms, there is an atmospheric and convivial taproom, where you can sit down for a meal and a few pints. There are about a dozen house beers along with some decent guest taps. There is also a store for purchasing swag and beer-to-go. As a bonus, it is next door to Tennant Brewery, which makes for some extra quaffing.

I spent a very enjoyable couple of hours at this brewery tap last Friday. It's a very spacious venue, but was 60% full even in the early evening. Very attentive staff wanting to help you as soon as you step through the door. I went straight to the long bar with it's 22 taps, plenty of choice with a few guest besides Drygate's own ales. Small tasters were offered before I went for the Ax Man Rye IPA, a very good choice. They have 4 long wooden bench tables to enjoy your pint at.
They also have a very well stocked shop of bottled beers from Scotland, the rest of the UK & the world.
Most of the ground floor is laid out as a restaurant & kitchen with the food been good. They also have a large outside seating in the front courtyard & a spacious beer hall with bar and a different food menu that can have a number of it's tables reserved for party's. Overall a place I'd be happy to revisit!

This place was huge, spread over two floors with a large sun terrace and massive beer hall. The place also has a large projector screen for showing football and has 24 beers taps (8 of which are cask pumps). There is also a small shop with a selection of around 500 different world beers, with plenty from Germany, Belgium and the United State although offerings from everywhere feature too.

The service was fairly average but I didn't order food or anything complicated so who knows. The one down side was that the place seemed a little pricey, although a few keg offerings weren't too bad but the same couldn't be said for the price of some bottles. Apparently a bottle of Rochefort 10 is an even £10 and Brooklyn Local 1 or 2 ares £19 each a bottle; that's pretty much double the price they can be found for in an already pricey local bottle shop. Hitachino Nest White Ale will also set you back £6 for a small bottle which is ridiculous and some of the pints were over £6 each (shocking considering most were under 6% abv).

I liked the place and it was good sititng in the sun butat those prices I'm not sure how much I'll be back, at least until the brewery has a lot more beers of their own on offer anyway.
