Robust Porter dark as the night sky and deep as the outermost galaxies. Pleasant aromas of dark smoky grains, molasses and chocolate guide the way to a creamy full bodied blend.

Canned 1/2/16; drank 2/8/16 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dark brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big tan head; minimal lace.
Chocolate, fresh earth, raw oats & cream notes in the nose.
Creamy medium thick mouthfeel.
Cream, raw oats & dark chocolate flavors.
A nice above average porter.

The Moonray Porter is solid...but not in the same class as my favorite porters....but close. It poured an opaque black with ecru head and no lace. The scent had a nice roast with hint of chocolate and vanilla. The taste had peat with touches of roast and dark fruit. The Mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's worth a try.
