Pours light and cloudy, with a nice white fine bubble head, leaving average lacing. Yeasty nose. Fairly light, nice smooth mouthfeel, this one tasted more like a wit beer to me then a triple. Creamy and pleasant in general, worth a try , but this one is not gonna blow you away. Nice for summer with food.

The beer pours a cloudy harvest gold color, similar to the color of the refrigerator we had when I was a wee bairn back in the 1970's. Absolutely no suggestion of any head at all, even dumping it straight into the glass. Interesting color, but what happened to the head? This is belgian styled, right?
The aroma is strange, yet somewhat complex. A slightly sour belgian yeast aroma immediately makes it's presence known. A sourish wheat maltiness is apparent, although I'm doubting whether or not they used wheat. Hints of coriander, pickled ginger and tart lemon, with a touch of alcohol.
The flavor starts out with some dryish wheat malt up front, coupled with a vague candi sugar sweetness into the middle. Some light toasty caramel travel into an indistinct estery fruitiness. Very strange carbonation that starts out nearly flat, but comes off almost soda-like in the swallow. Some very faint coriander spiciness, with a bit of a gingery bite. Light bodied, but shooting for medium. The candi sugar and esteriness continues into the finish, where it meets a wheaty, yeasty sourness. Slight malt and plenty of candi sugar in the finish, leaving you with a cloying saccharine bite. Powdery, yeasty mouthfeel with that funky carbonation isn't quite an enjoyable combination.
Very strange and not quite enjoyable. The beer seems confused with what it wants to do, giving off bits of this and that but actually accomplishing nothing. Closer to a saison than a tripel. Maybe I got a bad bottle? No oxodized flavors, but maybe something happened in the brewing process. The beer at least makes you think, for what that's worth.

Pours a hazy blond with a nice big bright white head. Certainly the best brew available from Kross. No huge flavors coming in from the malts and hops. The yeast and a touch of spicing are evident in the flavor profile. The balance is nicely done and the mouthfeel is nice and smooth, though for a bottle conditioned brew it is not where I would like to feel it. Try it before Kross is dead dead.

Starts with a three fingered head that leaves some lace. Cloudy straw color. Nose is faintly hoppy. Flavor is a light hop, expecting some yeast and citrus but not noticeable. Their web site is calling this a trippel but it isn't any where near a Belgian trippel. Crisp finish on the hoppy side. Very good carbonation and light bodied. The ABV is 5.9%.

The beer pours a somewhat murky golden white color; the head is prestigious in size, creamy in texture and a bright white in color, as it dissolves the remainder leave a fine coating of lace upon the glass. Nose has a lemon like crispness, malt dominated and slightly sweet, start has nice semi-sweet malt flavor with the top middling in its feel. Finish is stern in its acidity, the hops bracing in their spicy bite, quite dry almost “Wit Like”, drinkable and a nice change of pace from most “Blondes”, beer that is.

Sampled on tap at Redbones. I had never heard of this one, and assumed it was from Belgium.

This blonde poured a cloudy, yellow color with creamy white foam that clung to the glass to give some lace. The smell was modest: a mild malty aroma. The taste was sweet malty and floral hops with a bit of "horse blanket". Overall tangy flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy with medium body and low carbonation feel. This was a rather nice and mellow and easily drinkable beer on tap.

It's not often I walk into Redbones and find a completely unknown beer/brewery on tap, but they did it! This was a very cloudy, light tangerine in color, nice head on top. Aroma was very fresh, slightly citrusy. I find the carbonation/mouthfeel to be quite refreshing and tingly. Over-all this was a delightful, refreshing spicey/citrusy beer that I enjoyed very much. I got more of a wit type taste from it, not really a warm alcohol type flavor that the style could have indicated. Would get again. Pat

The unbelievably big cumulus-cloud-looking white head that sprang forth from even a gentle pour made me think that this was going to be a bad bottle, but maybe they just let the refermentation get out of control a bit.

The beer was a very cloudy dark yellow with chunks so big that my homebrew seems filtered in comparison. The smell was, to me, very similar to how Blue Moon tastes - coriander and some phenols? Tasted slightly tart, a little sour. Smooth at first, tingly feel after a second. A nice beer I suppose, but not great for the style, and do not pour the last 1/4" of the bottle unless you feel like chewing your beer.

Cloudy, yellow-orange with a big, fluffy bright white head; which dissipates slowly leaving a thin collar and some lace. The aroma has a dominant note of coriander, some nice citrus (orange) and apple-like fruitness, and a gentle yeasty character. The body is medium and the carbonation is just slightly high at @ 2.6 volumes CO2, giving a zesty and creamy mouthfeel. The flavor comes on strong with a solid orange peel zing and a strong yeast character that diminshes only at the swallow, leaving a dry and sticky spiciness throughout the mouth - which can be a bit overwhelming. A fairly heavy-handed and one-sided beer that has alot of character but a little less finesse.

Big pillowy white foam head with a more than ample stick and retention. Colour is a cloudy true blonde (unfiltered). Dominant corriander and orange peel spice in the nose -- slight yeast must. Very sharp on the palate with a powerful bitter orange citrus flavour, backed by a dose of musty yeast. Creamy, tight mouthfeel. No real malt sweetness, distinct malt flavours or perceived "hop" bitterness. Finish is dry, a bit grainy and coarse at the end.

Nice aroma and appearance but the orange presence is a bit too much in the flavour, especially for the style. I'd also suggest that you chill for a while, let the yeast compact, then pour gently as to not introduce too much yeast into your glass. Less the intense orange and this beer might have been much better.
