Gump's Lager

On tap. Amber color with a one finger head. Nose of bread and floral hops. Taste is malt forward with a balanced amount of hops. Medium light body and medium light carbonation.
A malt forward vienna lager that is content staying within traditional guidelines.

Malty, very clean fermentation profile. Really enjoyable.

 

 

 

 

 

classic vienna lager here, wit that nice copper color, radiant clarity, and thin vein of sweetness running through it. the lager yeast adds more than a quick finish, its got a great fresh baked bread character to it, that goes really nicely with the richer grain middle. it seems maybe a touch under hopped for my palate, but i think it remains true to style, finishing with just a dab of residual sugar. its easy drinking too, with its lighter medium body and poppy carbonation. one of the more straight forward beers down at the pearl, but one of the more well done and true to style beers they do.
