not a lot of mango in this one, but its a good enough basic wheat beer for those less inclined to try the more inventive beers they do in here. less cloudy than many wheats, with a good head on it, light in tone. it smells a little fruity i suppose, but to call in mango for sure would be a major stretch. it has a little sweetness there though, and a summer complexion overall. the flavor is good, fresh, and light. drier than it smells for sure, with a little of the fruit coming through i guess, but its similarly vague, not bad, but not distinct. a generic ale yeast on it, nothing too remarkable really, but clean and drinkable. this is one of the more boring beers these guys do in my opinion, the mango could be scaled up a whole lot and it would improve, but i like their idea of having a more approachable beer with a slight twist on it compared to the usual generic american wheat. better in summer than fall in my opinion, its a bit thin for cooler weather, but remains refreshing and satisfying at all times.
